Friday Freebie: November wallpaper October 30 2015

Hi everyone! I'm back for another Friday freebie! I hope you enjoyed last weeks to-do list. Even though we are in the last few days of October, I wanted to give you a head start for November 1st, since it starts this Sunday. Crazy, right?! I am really looking forward to November this year. There is so much happening this month that I'm excited about. The most exciting of which happens in 2 weeks...we are getting a new puppy! A golden retriever to be exact. We are over the moon excited and I'm sure I will be sharing A LOT of pictures...especially on Instagram (you can find me @nelladesigns). Do you have anything special going on in November? I'd love to hear!
Ok, back to the freebie....this is just a cute, fall wallpaper for your desktop with the month at a glance. I designed this to fit standard monitors, but PLEASE let me know if there are any issues with clarity or size. Just shoot me a comment below. You should be able to click on the image and save as your desktop wallpaper directly or save the image itself. Happy November y'all!

Friday Freebie: Printable To Do List October 23 2015

Happy Friday, everyone! I am so glad it's the weekend. How about you? Weekends are a chance for me to catch up on my to do lists! I am actually the type of person who loves writing things down and marking them digital iphone calendars/lists for me! Plus, pretty paper lists make the "to do's" a wee less painful. In the spirit of that, I designed a little download for all my fellow paper lovers and list makers.

These cute little bird note sheets are 4x6 and all you have to do to start list making is to right click the image (or control button/save image as) below and download to your desktop. Print them off on any paper you like ( I have them on a standard letter size ) and then cut 'em out! Easy peasy.
As always, these are strictly for personal use only!

Enjoy! If you use these, I'd love you to share in a pic! Post them on Instagram and share them with the hashtag #nelladesigns

Happy weekend-ing!

2015 Holiday Collection is Live! October 22 2015

I know what you're thinking. "Already? Great Scott, woman! It's not even Halloween yet!" Before you scoot away, just hear me out? Not only, as a designer, do I have to start working on Christmas cards and holiday paper goods in July (try getting in the spirit when it's 100+ degrees on a good day!) for editorial purposes, but in order for my International pals to partake in the holiday fa la la, I have to debut things a wee early! Shipments take a good while to travel across the pond, ya know.

However, as a consolation prize for those whom aren't quite ready or those who just love a good deal, I shall make it worth your while! From this moment forward until Friday, October 23rd (yes, the entire day) ALL Holiday/Christmas items are 15% OFF with the code FLASHSALE. This is a superb deal & since quite a few of my new designs are limited (I'm looking at you dapper fox & rudolph!) you'll want to nab them before they're gone!

Having said that, I think you'll enjoy the collection. I had great fun using gold elements, chalkboard backgrounds, and whimsical woodland creatures. As always, if you would like something custom, use the contact form above to give me a shout and we'll discuss making all your Christmas dreams come true.

Until next time, friends!

Free Fall Printable October 01 2015

Happy October everyone! The start of the Fall season makes me giddy. The thought of cozy sweaters, football games, apple picking, pumpkin spice lattes and fall festivals make me a happy, happy girl. Today I came across this free fall printable by Kayla Aimee and knew instantly I had to share. The sentiment is one I couldn't agree with more..."I'm so happy I live in a world where there are Octobers"- Anne of Green Gables. Kayla is not only crazy talented, she is pretty darn funny to boot. I encourage you all to check out her blog if you need a good laugh. In the meantime, what are some of your favorite things about Fall? Do share.

Blush and Gold Wedding Inspiration September 22 2015

I was contacted back in the summer months by The Westchester Wedding Planner magazine to submit a photo of my wedding sign design, (shown in pic 14 below) and was delighted when told it would be featured in their newest issue. The Westchester Wedding Planner is a New York based wedding inspiration blog and curated guide. The magazine features real wedding inspiration, a detailed wedding timeline, resources, planning tips, and tons of wedding ideas.

The magazine features some of the prettiest weddings and bridal photo sessions around & this latest issue is no exception. The spread I was featured in was all about the color combination of blush and gold, which are quite popular this wedding season. And why not? Just look at the lovely bridal bouquet (shown below in picture 4) shot by Oldani Photography (swoon!) or those lovely gold foil letterpress coasters by Laura Hooper Calligraphy (shown in pic 13 above)!

The entire issue is filled with all sorts of inspiration and beautiful photography. If you are newly engaged and looking for ideas for your wedding, take a peek at the issue, it's available digitally here. Enjoy!

New: Wedding Printables Collection! September 09 2015

Hello friends! I have some super exciting news to share with you on the home front! After the New Year, I began to dip my toes in the wedding and party printables arena. It is something that I had been toying around with implementing for quite some time now, and the start of 2015 felt like there was no better time to take the leap.

However, I wanted to be certain that it was something that would be well received, (even liked!) by my customer base, so for the past 7 months or so, I've been testing it out on my Etsy site. I'm pleased to say that it was a hit! That was confirmation enough for me to now offer it on my personal site for all of you fine folks! Introducing the Wedding & Party Printables Collection!

wedding printables

The wedding printables collection consists of personalized wedding signs, menus, table numbers, invitations, wedding programs, and much more, in designs ranging from classic black and gold, to more bold and contemporary designs.
There is truly something for everyone. And the best part is, if you are wanting something custom, all you have to do is ask!
I hope to be adding more designs as the weeks and months go by. And I plan to showcase my designs "in action" here on the blog as bride's share their wedding photos with me. I would love to hear your suggestions for what you might like to see, so please share! Talk soon!

Free Halloween Labels & Stickers October 20 2014

As a child, I loved Halloween so very much. My favorite part had to be dressing up in costume & trick or treating! This cute little illustration I drew really sums up the feeling of Halloween for me. I really wanted to share them too, so I decided to turn them into cute Halloween labels and stickers. And the best part is they are FREE!
Simply print the labels onto either white card stock or an Avery 2.5" circle adhesive sheet (These should match up to Avery 5194 or 5294 sheets). If you print onto card stock, use your scissors to cut out  (or use a circle  punch if you have one!) and punch a hole in them, loop a ribbon through and then you can tie them onto your Halloween goodie bags! You or your child can personalize them by writing their names on the back with marker as well. These would also be super cute for scrapbook pages, don't you think?

Enjoy! If you use these, I'd love to see what you did with them! Post them on Instagram and share them with #nelladesigns
Simply right click the image (or control button/save image as) below and download to your desktop. Easy!
As always these are strictly for personal use only and are ©nella designs, 2014
